Fractional CO2 laser treatment provides immediate and visible results for challenging skin issues such as wrinkles, fine lines, sun-damaged or sagging skin, uneven skin tone, dark spots left after acne, benign skin lesions, and scars.
With its 10600 nm wavelength, the CO2 laser combines ablative and thermal effects, offering a wide range of treatment options for dermatological and plastic surgical procedures that require high precision.
Unlike traditional ablative laser methods that remove the entire upper layer of the skin, Alma Pixel CO2 creates pixel-sized perforations in the skin, leaving the surrounding tissue untouched. Preserving the intact skin between the perforations allows for faster healing, promotes rapid exfoliation, stimulates the production of new collagen fibers, facilitates tissue regeneration, and contraction of existing cells.
A major advantage over conventional procedures is that Fractional CO2 treatment is much more comfortable, and the recovery time is significantly shorter.
Our Fractional CO2 skin rejuvenation treatment always starts with a consultation. During the consultation, our specialist doctor assesses the condition of your skin, gathers information about any previous interventions, determines the most suitable procedure for your goals, and establishes a treatment plan.
In the first step of the treatment, the expert disinfects the treated skin area and applies local anesthesia. They then perform the settings specified in the treatment plan and gradually treat the skin surface, potentially addressing the same area multiple times. At the end of the treatment, the skin is post-treated.
The duration of the laser skin rejuvenation treatment can range from 45 to 90 minutes, depending on the treated area and including the anesthesia.
Prior to the treatment, local anesthesia is administered, and once the appropriate duration has passed, the treatment begins. During the procedure, a special cooling device is used to continuously cool the treated skin area, minimizing any potential discomfort. The skin may become red and a burning sensation may occur at the end of the treatment.

As fractional laser resurfacing affects the top layer of the skin, you may experience redness, itching, and edema for 3-4 days. On the day of the treatment and the following day, you may also experience some edema, primarily around the eye area. No wounds or bleeding will occur, so dressing is not required.
About 7-10 days after the treatment, the skin becomes dry and painlessly peels off, revealing a new layer of skin. The new skin is initially pinkish and highly sensitive to external factors, so we recommend staying indoors and avoiding UV radiation. The color of the new skin gradually fades.
Makeup should be avoided for 2 weeks after laser skin treatment. Avoid sun exposure, tanning beds, and sauna use for 4 weeks as they increase the activity of pigment-producing cells, leading to the development of pigment disorders. Apply a minimum SPF 30 sunscreen for at least 6 months. If possible, avoid smoking, as nicotine slows down the regeneration process and impairs wound healing.
