Considering the increasing number of diagnosed melanomas and skin cancers nowadays, early diagnosis has become crucial. In this regard, the FotoFinder ATBM is the best choice for mole screening and early detection of skin cancer.
The dermatologist will extensively interview the patient about their symptoms, primarily related to the skin, although any previous illnesses may also be important. Depending on the nature of the skin symptoms, it may also involve a family medical history.
During the physical examination, depending on the clinic, not only the affected area but sometimes the entire body surface may be examined. In the case of mole examination, a detailed examination of the entire body surface is done using a special tool called a dermatoscope.
